2017 Terroir Series Riesling
The Lightfoot & Wolfville Terroir Series is a collection of small-lot wines intended to showcase our distinctive sense of place in the Annapolis Valley. The label imagery reflects this theme and helps tell the story of each wine. The bees, butterflies, and cow horns represent our organic and biodynamic farming practices. The roses signify the signature floral perfume of Nova Scotia's aromatic whites. The eye symbolizes the human element in biodynamics; the winegrower "looking through the keyhole" and the role we play in terroir expression.

Pale yellow-gold hue in the glass. Inviting floral, fruity aromas of fresh apricot, peach blossom, and jasmine with flavours of sweet honeycrisp apple and juicy pear, balanced by bright acidity and a clean mineral finish.
The combination of naturally low alcohol, high acidity, and slight sweetness make this a delightful aperitif and also a very food friendly wine. Try with spicy Asian/fusion cuisine, smoked fish, salty cheeses, roasted meats with pan sauce, beurre blanc, or roasted vegetables.
