2016 Terroir Series Sauvignon Blanc

The Lightfoot & Wolfville Terroir Series is a collection of small-lot wines intended to showcase our distinctive sense of place in the Annapolis Valley. The label imagery reflects this theme and helps tell the story of each wine. The barn swallows, grasshoppers and bees represent our commitment to enhancing biodiversity by converting the Oak Island Vineyard to organic agriculture. The dandelions and cow horns represent our biodynamic farming practices. The flowers are apple blossoms, representing the Annapolis Valley farming heritage. The eye symbolizes the human element in terroir expression; the winegrower "looking through the keyhole" and they role they play in the whole system.
